Megatron Federal/Ellies Power Products

History

Megatron Federal was founded in 1999 and acquired in May 2008 by The Ellies Group.

The Ellies Group was established in 1979 in Johannesburg, South Africa, and is presently the largest manufaturer, wholesaler and distributor of electronic products related to television reception.

The Ellies Group consists of head offices located in Johannesburg with 12 branches throughtout Southern Africa.

Ellies Power Products was established in May 2009 as a marketing and sales division of Megtron Feferal.

The inspiration behind creating Ellies Power Products, headed by Gary Gilingham, was to establish a sales and marketing devision, staffed by qualified sales personnel, to aggressively market and service the entire Southern African region, to become acknowledged as the preferred supplier of M.V. switchgear used in the electrical industry, by using Ellies (Pty) Ltd's existing infrastructure we can offer delivery and back-up of all our products throughout the region. Ellies Power Products is also a supplier of a wide range od quality ancilliary equipment and materials used in the medium voltage, H.V. industry and OHL reticulation.
