Satellite Television-Reception Products incorporates the ElSat brand, which is the largest distributor of satellite equipment in Southern Africa. It both manufactures the two leading size satellite dishes locally and imports a wider range. ElSat contributes 45% of group revenue.
ElSat facilitates installations nationwide through its call centres and established relationships with reputable independent installers who use the pre-paid installation voucher system pioneered by the group. In terms of this system the group’s telesales department fields calls from retail customers who have purchased pre-paid installation vouchers for satellite equipment, allocating an installation technician and tracking the process from start to finish.
ElSat works closely with MultiChoice as its largest distributor.
