Ellies is committed to supporting socio-economic development and actively participates in social upliftment programmes both within the organisation and in the local community. The group further supports a range of charities.
Emphasis is placed in the organisation on ongoing training and upskill programmes. The policy of promotion from within further encourages the accelerated advancement of black staff. Monthly employee recognition awards have also been introduced to identify talent and so help facilitate black staff succession planning.
